The Peacock Chronicle is dedicated to the
preservation of community values and American folk cultures. In
today's society, we are too often deprived of a solid feeling of
community which is so vital to our security and well-being.
In our rush to progress, we are in danger of losing our positive, traditional standards and values. The Peacock Chronicle is our attempt to keep the best parts of our culture intact.
From the Editor: Season's Greetings, y'all! :) So much has happened this past year that required so many changes, I sometimes felt like Pecos Bill lassoing the tornado. It has often been discouraging but I've decided to make this magazine the best it can possibly be regardless of the time it takes or pitfalls (or tornadoes) along the way. Looking forward to "seeing" you here.
If you've been here before, you'll notice some design and content changes. This is a very complicated endeavor. If you are waiting to hear from me, please forgive any delays. If you would like to know the status of a submitted work, send me an email and I will get back to you as quickly as possible.
The Peacock Chronicle is a one-woman show these days...and funds are virtually non-existent. So any help would be appreciated. Please consider making a donation through the link on the side of the page.
It would be a tremendous help, too, if you would report any broken links you may find.
