Men'Drazi speak their own racial language and those with intellegence scores of over 12 can speak a gutteral form of common.
Men'Drazi are a fearless race of nomadic scavengers.  Their skin has taken on the sheen of the deserts in which they reside and have naturally hardened against the sting of the sands. The creatures are incredibly tall, ranging between 6 ft. to 7 ft., and weighing sometimes up to 450 lbs.  One can always recognize a Men'Drazi by it's unusal bell-shaped head with the upper skull covered in small tentacle-like tendrils that extend to the shoulders.  Originally, before any verbal language was created, the Men'Drazi were able to naturally communicate between themselves.  The Men'Drazi are able to voluntarily change the heat radiance and pattern that emits from their tendrils, which has lead to a highly complex system of communication.  Men'Drazi's eyes are red orbs coated in tiny veins which allow them to see fully into the infrared spectrum.  They must wear specially-made tinted goggles when they are in the sun or any other are of intense heat as they are nearly blinded by such exposure.  Men'Drazi suffer a -1 to all attack rolls, saving throws and skill checks if their eyes are exposed to sunlight or an abrupt exposure to heat (such as a fireball or a dragons breath weapon).
Another physical characteristic is that Men'Drazi have different jaw structures than most common humanoids.  Their teeth are sharp and pointed allowing them to interlock together, though they have no lips; with only a tough cartillage acting as their gums.  Men'Drazi are incapable of chewing as their jaw structure only allows for verticle motion.  Thus these creatures subside only on meat that they can rend with their talons in order to be swallowed.  This has caused many onlookers to believe that the Men'Drazi are mindless savages due to the grotesqueness of their eating habits.
Combat: Men'Drazi are highly protective over the goods that they scavenge.  Most people consider them thieves, but the Men'Drazi have strict rules within their society governing property rights and thieves are considered to be the bane of existance.  One particular rule in Men'Drazi society is the old saying "Finder's keepers..." This has caused a lot of open hostilities against the nomadic tribes.
Men'Drazi weaponry are usually make-shift weapons made from scrap and suffer a -1 penalty to both attack and damage rolls.  However, for those Men'Drazi who were lucky enough to find human crafted or other race wrought items tend to use them over scrap materials.  Most Men'Drazi prefer using heavy weapons such as great swords and axes in combat in comparison to smaller, light-weight weapons.  Some are even known to enjoy the feel of double-bladed swords and axes.  A Men'Drazi will attack with unrelenting ferocity in protection of his tribe or salavaged goods and usually will not stop until death.
Men'Drazi also have been known to employ their bone talons in combat.  During grapple attempts, the Men'Drazi gain a +4 circumstance bonus once the initial grab has been made due to their ability to lock their joints.  This ability also extends to whenever they are the victim of a disarm attack, granting them a +4 circumstance modifier to hold onto their weapon.
Ecology - Men'Drazi are desert nomads that scavange for tools and other goods for survival.  Being that their talons are incredibly awkward for most crafting skills they have to rely upon other races for materials. Though scavangers the Men'Drazi are not know to raid traveling caravans, instead they regularly patrol most trade routes in hopes of finding anything that might have accidently been left behind.  Once a Men'Drazi scavenges an item, that item is then considered his full property and can only be reacquired through trade.
Thieves are fair warned never to steal from a Men'Drazi as they will relentlessly follow the thief and go to all extremes just to recover the stolen property.  Once found the thief is usually slain for the offense.  This is what coined the phrase, "As persistant as a Men'Drazi."

Society - Men'Drazi society is based on a communal tribe where all objects and resources are distributed by need.  The only thing that a Men'Drazi ever individually owns is his weapons and armor, which he uses for the defense of the tribe.  The tribe is ruled by a chieftan who has attained his rank, not through ancestral lines, but from sheer strength.  In order to gain social prestige in Men'Drazi society, a young Men'Drazi may challenge older Men'Drazi by a contest of might called "The Trial by Daggers" with the winner granted the respect and prestige of the elder.
These sand nomads communicate amongst each other in two different ways.  The first way is a universal non-verbal form of communication that is based off reading the heat signitures off anothers tendrils which is usually reinforced with body language.  Another means is a gutteral shrieking noise that they emit, varying in different pitches and tones in order to deliver expression.  These shrieks can be heard over 5 miles away, but are virtually uncomprehenable to any save for Men'Drazi.  Not even the spell
Comprehend Languages can understand the basics of the language.  Luickly, some Men'Drazi traders have learned how to speak a gutteral form of common that is understandable most of the time.  When it comes to open bartering and trade, no other race compares to the honor and sheer honesty of the Men'Drazi.  Whenever another merchant feels cheated, the Men'Drazi are always quick to try and make things right.  However, they are not stupid and do not hand goods over for anything less it's worth.
Men'Drazi are also a spiritual people who's culture is riddled in supersition and myth.  They believe in a combination of spirits who inhabit the land, whispering in the wind the secrets of destiny and in a mother goddess named T'shia whom provides them with the materials they need to survive.  A common Men'Drazi phrase is, "T'shia will provide and may the spirits show us the way." Objects that fall from merchant caravans and are attributed to T'shia.  T'shia priests may pick from the Creation, Luck, Sand and Travel Domains.
