Judy was introduced to wheat weaving at a make-it-take-it workshop conducted by Nan Rohan and Ann Havlik in Suisun, California, in 1994. She liked it so much that she immediatley started searching the internet for more information about it. There wasn't any! When she finally found out about the NAWW she decided that she wanted to help others learn about this craft. That was the beginning of the World Wide Wheat Weavers web site and her screen name, wheatwhiz. She is a member of the California Wheat Weavers Guild, The National Association of Wheat Weavers, and the Guild of Straw Craftsmen. |
