Avenue Road: The busiest road in Bangalore.

There is a road that joins City Market to Kempegowda Road, dividing the areas of Chickpet and Cubbonpet, called "Avenue Road". If you really want to test your driving skills, thgen this is the road you would need to go up in any vehicle. You would find man-push-carts, bullock carts, cyclists, cars, motorbikes, stray dogs and animals, you name it it's there except buses! This is one of the most heavily usedd roads as it joins two important areas, and the hub of the business traffic. This area is very old and traders have been located in this area from the time of Tippu, as it is very close to the Fort. The landscape has changed over the years and narrow multistoried buildings have come up, and pushed out the older generations of their tibes. A few that managed to survive I have tried to capture, and there are still a few more that will be added when I next go there. Because to ghe highly dence traffic, it is not a very encouraging area to visit. One wonders how this road has not been renamed after one of the politicians? Good question for thought! The top of the road is the Mysore Bank building and the Law College, further up Central College, will photograph sometime..

Thought for the Day: " Blessed are you poor, For yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are you who hunger now, For you shall be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, For you shall laugh. Blessed are you when men hate you, And when they exclude you, And revile you, and cast out your name as evil, For the Son of Man's sake. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy! For indeed your reward is great in heaven, Fon in the manner their fathers did to the prophets. But woe to you who are rich, For you have received your consolation. Woe to you who are full, For you shall hunger. Woe to you who laugh now, For you shall mourn and weep. Woe to you when all men speak well of you, For so did they fathers to the false prophets." Holy Bible: Luke 6:20-26
