The Rights of the Citizen
Knowledge is power.  An ageless cliche that never rang more truthfully in the year 2000.  Knowing the Bill of Rights and the US Code are necessary weapons to equip yourself with.  Think of these documents as essential vitamins.  You risk harm to your person if your intake is an unhealthy diet of ignorance and blind faith in the government.

Being able to articulate your rights and the reasoning behind your civil disobedient actions (if you are engaged in civil disobedience) is another essential 'know how' when addressing the CORPORATE MEDIA.  Your evening news rolls footage that has been doctored, painting the stereotypical image of the fanatical, long-haired protester who is less than articulate about his/her intentions but 'has a dream' and thinks radical lock-downs are the only way to garner attention.  While radical lock-downs are an extremely effective way to stop the masses, we need to provide the interviewing 'corporate' media with potent, intelligent respsonses refusing them the ability to edit little 'snippets' that are consistent with the viewing audiences' stereotype of the protester/anarchist.
