Accidental Death of an Anarchist |
The Understudies |
Gabriel Baron (Fool) - Despite Gabriel's belief that acting is evil as it is, in fact, an occurrence of demonic spirits possessing one's mind and body, he continues to do theatre all over his apartment. Favorite roles include Tired Guy in Midnight Stumble to the Bathroom and Angry Guy in Obnoxious People Honking and Yelling Outside the Window at Two A.M. Screen credits include Men In Black and a very independent film involving overripe fruit and elderly Ukranians who he'd rather not name. Gabriel likes to say the words "FUKRUSTITUSK" and "squorst" (as coined by Troy). P.S. Chaplin was the Messiah. Devlin Borra (Officer) - Devlin is morbidly terrified to be working with Barefoot Theatre Group. He studied theater at Central Washington University and Cornish College of the Arts. He has appeared in five plays and four short films prior to Barefoot, including the lead in a rendition of Franz Kafka's A Hunger Artist during his residency in Prague, CZ. Devlin enjoys doing things much more than, say, talking about doing things. Keni Cohen (Inspector) - Keni began fighting justice in kindergarten where he was forced to spend a great deal of time in corners and closets for the crime of being bored with the educational system of the 50s. Later, in the 60s and 70s, he could be found in the streets protesting for civil rights and against the Viet Nam war. He has studied with Robert Alexander of Living Stage and Ronnie Davis, Joe Bellan, Sandy Archer, and Anne Jankovic of the San Francisco Mime Troupe. After studying Mime with Etienne Decroux, Keni began forming political theatre ensembles in France, Portugal, and Brazil. The 90s were spent in New Mexico acting, directing, teaching, marrying and raising a family in community. Now teaching in Seattle for the Seattle Children's Theatre, Youth Northwest and Two Roads, Keni says that he is honored to be part of this wonderful ensemble. Matt Farnsworth (Reporter) - Matt was born in Wisconsin to good folk who finally realized that raising a child in Wisconsin was not as funny as it sounded. They moved him and his brother to Northern California which (thankfully) is much funnier. He worked with Sonoma County Repertory, Main Street Theatre, and the Santa Rosa Players in shows such as Oliver!, The Pirates of Penzance, The Playboy of the Western World, You Can't Take It With You, and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. In 1996 he wrote and directed two one-acts, Master of the Stage and The Pale Monkey-Dirt of Love to tremendous audience acclaim. Unfortunately, the musical Apocalypse Whe? Apocalypse Now! and his all-male version of The Women did not go over so well, and he had to flee to Seattle. He briefly attended Cornish College of the Arts (which was not funny at all) and wrote and directed senior projects for Ryan Spickard and Jake Notehelfer. He also performed his one-man show Bitter at Coff. Troy Miszklevitz (Captain) - Troy lives in Seattle and works for a major corporation and world power. He enjoys acting, water sports, skiing, and snorkeling. Some of his least favorite roles include Dying Boy in Two hours of Slow Death, Cliff Clifferson in The Sixty-Three Senseless Beatings of Cliff Clifferson, and the Ladder in Our Town. Accidental Death of an Anarchist is the best play ever written in the entire world, ever. Vote Gore or we're in big trouble. Jacob Morehead (Chief) - After a fight with his creative muse (he lost), Jacob decided to write his bio under protest. Would you like to know who I am? Tough! Ha, ha! Nyaa, Nyaa...Wait, where are you going? Okay, fine, I'll tell you! Uhh...out of space. I've performed before! (Haven't we all!) Sliante! Home of the Barefoot |
