| These images were produced by the same technique described on the previous page. However, they were scanned from 35mm Ektachrome 100 slides and show much more prominence, chromosphere and inner corona detail. Except for the first image (13:10:53 UT) they do not coincide precisely with the video frames. I have no comparable photos of third contact. Those I took at the time overexposed the inner corona region in attempts to capture the outer corona. |
