Bury Town Centre to be Revamped?
Bury town centre is set for a £150 million re-development which could create up to 3,600 jobs along with 60 new shops, an 800 seat food courta 10 screen multiplex, a new transport interchange and a 1000 space multistorey carpark.

However, the plans involve the relocation of Bury's historic market, which attract 12 million visitors a year (who all undoubtably come for the balck puddings...) and is rated in the top 10 UK markets.

Personally I think, pump in the new money, build lots of nice building, move the market back to its original site near Kay Gardens where it will probably be better off anyway.
