Barhund Chinese Shar pei is a small Show kennel established in 1990 . As a breeder of Chinese Shar Pei puppies, our philosophy is simple; produce Shar Pei puppiess that are structurally sound, healthy, with good breed type and sound loving temperament. Our breeding stock is AKC registered and OFA certified for hips, elbows, petallas and thyroid. Currently, Barhund Chinese Shar Pei is the home of (2) two Chic Certified Shar Pei, Ch Penpei's Light My Fire, . and Ch Barhunds A Gala Talk'N Girl Barhund will occasional have show and pet puppies available to select homes. All puppies will be quaranteed for two (2) years against genetic defects. As a courtesy, Barhund will refer prospective buyers to other responsible Shar Pei breeders if we do not have puppies available. It should be noted that AKC & CKC registration does NOT in anyway guarantee quality. At Barhund, we stand firm in the opinion that Shar Pei be purchased ONLY from those breeders who belong to the Chinese Shar Pei Club of America and the Canadian Shar Pei Club of Canada who offer written contracts, who offer you checkable references, who screen their dogs for health defects and who promise to take the dog back if you are ever unable to keep the dog, Barhund is a member, in good standing, with the following organizations: Chinese Shar Pei Club of America (CSPCA), Chinese Shar Pei Club of Canada (CSPCC) and founding member of the Berkshire Spur Chinese Shar Pei Club (BSCSP).
