Hey, I'm Joel...

I'm in a band. I haven't slept in over three months. I'm in a band? What Band? What time is practice? I need sleep  I'm in a band. I haven't slept in over three months. I'm in a band? What Band? What time is practice? I guess sleep is important, but you can't have any fun while your'e sleeping.

Anyway, for all my dear beloved friends who want to know something about me, well here it goes.  I was born in Baltimore(Dundalk - no jokes Okay), but my dad knew that was a rat hole, so he moved me down to the eastern shore of Maryland when I was just a little singer. I grew up in a small town in Caroline County, where there wasn't much to do except drink beer and sing.

I actually started singing when I was a little kid. My entire family are singers; to include uncles, cousins, etc.. My roots come from my family which is out of the Shenendoah Valley in the foot hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I was raised on country and blue grass, and learned at an early age how to harmonize and sing with the guitars and banjos.

As I grew older I realized that I was given the ability to sing most any kind of music. That was a blessing in disguise. I delved into the entertainment world, and I began singing a lot of weddings(yes, I know "THE WEDDING SINGER"). I always loved to entertain people, so that was what lead me to where I am today.

I sang as a soloist for a long time, but I was able to find my home with the band. They give me a hard time, and they love to call me names like Uncle Buck, but all in all they are a great bunch of guys.

For those of you who didn't know, I also play the piano, and I was taught how to play by mother when I was very young. Maybe I'll play something for you guys one day.

Until then, I will continue to rock, and sing my heart out for all of you. I hope you love and appreciate the band as much as I do. To all my friends, thank you so much for your support. There are too many of you to mention, but know that I do recognize and appreciate you all. Without you there wouldn't be a party, and an empty room is no fun to play too.

Hope to see you at a gig soon, and make sure you come and talk to me and the band when you get a chance. By the way, I love to get emails, so shoot me a line sometime.

Joel

PS:  I'm also late for every practice and never help loading up gear
