Bob's Info Bob Gibson-Lead Guitar/ Vocals Hey I'm Bob. I was born in a now defunct hospital somewhere in Baltimore (Hi Hon) City, Maryland. I come from a musical family, my mother plays the piano, my grandfather, Vince Catalono, played the violin, and my brother Steve is one hell of a bass player. Then the musical talent skipped down and my daughter Erin ended up with a great singing voice. I have been playing the guitar long enough to be the man who inspired the phrase "turn that damn thing down." I still think lyrics are just wasted time between guitar solos. My musical inspiration comes from such talent as Frank Zappa, Steve Howe, Keith Goodwin, B. B. King, and Mark Knopfler. I play a 1984 Givson Les Paul Custom and an ESP KH-2, a killer guitar with incredible pickups. I also play a Washburn accoustic/electric cutaway on a few songs. I run these through a Digitech effects board to a Marshall TSL-122. Once you go tubes, you can never go back. When I'm not playing guitar, I also try my hand at being a police sergeant in Prince (God-give-me-strength) George's County. I am currently assigned to a patrol squad in Shootland-er, I mean Suitland. I would like to thank everyone for their continured support of my mid-life crisis. I would especially like to thank the band for putting up with my 1980's mentality and volume control disorder syndrome. -Eddie "Garth" Talik for writing some awesome songs and providing aerial acrobatics during gigs. -Randy "Pee-Wee" Greer who is the heartbeat of the spiders. -Joel "The Voice" Morris whose talent and range floors us all. -Clay "The Rock" Perkins whose sense of humor, talent, and technical knowledge is the foundation of the spiders.
