For many children, pre-kindergarten is their first exposure to a classroom environment. Learning how to act with a relatively large group of children so close in size and age, (not to mention space) can be quite a challenge for them.  Our goal is to help them along with a clear statement of class rules.  We use positive reinforcement when they follow the rules and predictable consequences when they don't

Tallies are tracked for the week.  Children with less than seven tallies for the week will be allowed to visit the treasure box on Fun Friday!  Children with six or more tallies do not get to visit the treasure box and will receive a note home explaining the details of the tallies.If you have  any questions at all about this system please feel free to ask.
