Guild Ranks
GRUNT
The Grunt of Barons of Smite is the basic rank that every person gets upon being accepted into the guild. This rank is only temporary and is more or less a "trial" rank just to see how each person adjusts to being a part of the new guild. This rank lasts for only the first few weeks of being in the guild and in order to move up players should show that they are serious about the guild and are willing to be active and participate in guild functions.
COMMANDO
The Commando of Barons of Smite will generally be the biggest portion of the players in the guild and can be referred to as the "backbone" of the guild. Commandos are expected to be involved in nearly all guild functions and are more dependable than the average player. Players who hold the rank of Commando also show they have a knowledge for how the game works and show willingness to help out other guild mates, assuming they are not that busy themselves.
BRUISER
The Bruiser of Barons of Smite is considered an officer in game terms and players will only reach this rank by proving that they are worthy by participating in guild activities such as forum chat, raids, attending regular meetings, etc. A player that holds the rank of Bruiser will be asked, but not expected, to help out when it comes to organizing our guild meetings, keeping track of recruitment, and Barons of Smite promotions. Bruisers also have the ability to promote players (with the officers consent, of course). If any player that is a Bruiser wants these responsibilities then they can have them, however, if they do not, they will still be asked their opinions when it these items come up.
OFFICER
The Officer for Barons of Smite can also be described as the central core of the guild. Officers can invite and uninvite new members and can also promote and demote. In addition to showing a strong dedication to the guild and fellow guild mates, the Officer will be expected to organize guild functions such as instance runs and raids, and if possible, help out on the website. The Officer is expected to go above and beyond the call of duty for the guild.
BARON
The Baron of Barons of Smite can also be considered the "right-hand man" of the Master-at-Arms. The Baron shares every ability that the Master-at-Arms has and can now promote, demote, invite, uninvite, as well as write messages of the day, and all things that are associated with the guild. There can only ever be 5 Barons in the guild at any given time and these players who hold the rank of Barons have proven themselves time and time again to show that they are worthy. Barons also act as leaders when raids and instance runs are in order.
MASTER-AT-ARMS
There can only ever be 1 Master-at-Arms of The Barons of Smite and Allaxul is it. This is not a tyranny and all discussions are made with commanders and officers and therefore all decisions are made in the same way. Everything that happens within the guild is discussed by the staff and we will all ultimately make the decision to see if it is the right thing to do.
