I
live in Arizona, And I have lived here for 30+ years now. I
was born in Illinois, in a small town by the name of Kewanee.
My wife and I got married there and moved out to Arizona in very early
1969, and we had daughter shortly after that. And a son 3 years later.
We got married in August of 1966. When I moved out here, I
joined the Carpenter's Union and I am still a member yet today.
I went to Alaska in the mid 70's to work on the Alaskan Pipeline.
I have worked with my present company now for 10 years. I am a project
manager, and I am currently working for Motorola as a Project manager on
some of there big projects. I really enjoy my job and profession,
it has been good to me for many years and I am not tired of it at all.
Working in Alaska was a real experience for me and I really matured a lot there. I was away from home for three months at a time, for 3 years. All the money I made is all gone now. But it was nice for awhile. Last September 21st I had to go in for Prostate Cancer surgery. I was really scared to hear the word cancer, but as it turned out I did real well and all is just fine now. I am glad it is over but I hope no one, ever has to go through it like this. I have a page to answer questions for people as I couldn't get any help or answers before I had mine. Being 50+ years old it was kind of hard to think of living with cancer from then on. Now my way of thinking has changed a lot. And I do appreciate things more and take nothing for granted. And I thank God all the time. My wife and son were really a big help for me also, with out them by me I may not have been able to make it, back so soon. I am very interested in the www. now. I teach HTML at a place called Web Tech University and I also try to educate people about making there pages accessible to the disABLED. That way everyone can enjoy the internet. |
