Here are some of the events for the
2002-2003 Calendar Year:
October 18 (Fri) - Harvest Stew at KPL, 5:30-8:00. We will run 6 different game stations for the library. Everything is provided incuding free stew, cornbread, and drinks. Bring a can of food for donation to the food bank.
October 17 & 24 (Thur)- Medieval Art Days, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in KPL Mtg Rm. We will put together art things for the KPL Medieval Faire tables, and for the craft "Make & Take" table that we are running the day of the Faire. Make a sword or princess hat to wear! (See below). You may drop in any time to help or do your own art projects. Bring your lunch and a snack to share.
October 26 (Sat) - Medieval Faire at KPL, 1- 4:30 pm We will help with various art tables in a "Make and Take" area. The faire is free.
October 31 (Thur) No scheduled park meeting; we will go to Cici's Pizza @ 2:00 p.m.and make our own pizza. All you can eat for everyone. $2.00. RSVP
November - Casa Manana
January- Geography Day.
"Science in the news". TBA
February- Art Fair.
February - Valentine's Day Party.
March - Science Fair.
"Earth Day Month" Elaine Parry will host classes for Earth Day 2003.
April - End of the Year Family Picnic.
May - Standardized Testing (IOWA.)
May - Graduation/Award Ceremony.
