HONG KONG COUNTERFEIT

The name "Hong Kong Counterfeit" comes from the band's infatuation with Asian cultures, economy, and of cource counterfeited recordings from Hong Kong's "Hollywood East" discotheque (which was famous for playing European New Wave a.k.a. Italo and Eurobeat).

They also enjoy working with other talanted experimental and pop musicians. The first LP "Metal Disco" featured a remix by the electronic duo from Holland LEGOWELT vs.ORGUE ELECTRONIQUE 'Lectronix EP features collaboration with Man Parrish (known for work with Klaus Nomi and his solo pioneering of the 80's electro sceene) The new LP will feature guest vocals by singer Ayumi Ppe (a Karaoke star from Japan) and actress Eve B.I.
