1 BB Abraham dwelt in the land of Canaan and he made a covenant of peace with the inhabitants of the land.

2 BB You shall indeed keep my mitzvot and you shall remember that I am Hashem your G-d.

2 NS You will surely keep My commandments, and you will remember that I am HaShem your G-d.

3 BB There shall be judges for you in all of your cities and they will judge the people in righteousness.

3 NS You have will judges in all your cities, and they will judge the people in righteousness.

4 BB The sons of Jacob saw that Joseph (he) was ruling over all the land of Egypt, and they remembered the dreams which he dreamt.

6 BB If Esau will pursue after Jacob and he will kill him, why should I live (why is there for me life)?

6 NS If Esav pursues after Ya'akov and kills him, what is life to me?

6.WF If he'll pursue after Yaakov and kill him, Why should I live? (lit. Why to me life?)

 

7 BB On that day Hashem said, My house will be on the top of this mountain, and all of the nations of the earth will come there, and they will know that I am (He) G-d (definite noun), and there is none other before me.

7 NS "In that day," HaShem said, "My house will be on the top of this mountain, and all the nations of the earth will come there. And they will know that I am G-d and there is no other before Me."

7.WF On that day, The Lord said, It will be my house on top of this mountain and all the nations of the earth will come thither, and they'll know that I am the God and there is none other before me.

 

8 BB The elders of Israel came to him and they chose him for a king over them, as the word of Hashem to Samuel.

9 BB The young man took a book and he wrote in it the words of the prophet.

10 BB I heard the voice of My people in distress and I remembered my covenant with them.

11 BB And it will happen if they do not listen to your words and you will take from the waters of the river and you will pour [it] out upon the earth, the waters will be (for) blood before their eyes. 11 NS And it will be if they don't listen to My words, you will take water from the river and pour it on the ground, and the water will become blood to their eyes. Mosheh took water from the river and poured it on the ground, and it became blood to the eyes of the elders of Israel.

11.WF And it shall come to pass if they do not obey your words that you'll take from the water of the river and pour it out upon the ground and the water will turn into blood upon their eyes. Moshe took water from the river and poured it out upon the ground and it turned to blood unto the eyes of the elders of Israel.

 

12 BB Jacob said to his sons, the kings of the earth will hear [about] this thing and they ill come to us and they will kill us.

12 NS Ya'akov said to his sons, "All the kings of the land will hear of this thing, and they will come upon us and kill us."

12.WF Yaakov said unto his sons, Kings of this land will hear about this and they'll come upon us and kill us.

 

13 BB And it happened that Samuel was be prophet over Israel and he ruled over the people in righteousness all the days of his life.

13 NS Shmu'el was a prophet to Israel, and he judged the people with righteousness all the days of his life.

13.WF And Shmuel was a prophet to Israel and he judged the people in righteousness all the days of his life.

 

14 BB The sons of Jacob went down toward Egypt and they send messengers before them to Joseph saying behold the house of your father and all which is theirs came to you toward Egypt.

14 NS The sons of Ya'akov went down to Egypt, and they sent messengers before them to Yosef saying, "Behold, the house of your father and all that they have come to Egypt to you.

14.WF The sons of Israel went down to Egypt and sent messengers before them to Yoseph, saying, Behold, the house of your father and all that belongs to him have come unto thee towards Egypt.

 

15 BB And the word of Hashem came to me saying, "Son of man what do you hear?" 16 BB Our fathers were slaves for Pharaoh in Egypt and they cried out to Hashem our G-d.

15 NS The word of HaShem came to me saying, Son of man, what do you hear?

15.WF And this was the word of the Lord unto me saying, Son of man/Adam, What can you hear?

 

16 NS Our fathers were slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt, and they cried to HaShem our G-d.

16.WF Our fathers were slaves to pharaoh in Egypt and they cried unto the Lord, our God.

 

17 BB Abraham said to his servant who was ruling over all which was his, "Behold I am sending you to the house of my father, and you shall go there and you shall take a wife for my son from there.

17 NS Avraham said to his servant who ruled over all that he had, "Behold, I am sending you to the house of my father, and you will go there and take a wife for my son from there."

17.WF Avraham said unto his servant ruling over all that was his, Behold I am sending you unto the house of my brother, and you'll go thither and take a wife for my son from there.

 

18 BB Hashem, I walked before you in righteousness and I kept your Torah in truth.

18 NS HaShem, I have walked before You in righteousness and kept Your Torah in truth.

18.WF Lord, I've walked before you in righteousness and I've kept your Law in truth.

 

19 BB You remembered Your covenant with us and You cut off before us the waters of the river as you said; and from the mountain we took great stones and we wrote upon them all the things which we saw with our eyes, so that our children will come after us will see on them all that Hashem has done for us.

19 NS You remembered Your covenant with us and divided (cut) the waters of the river before us as You said. And we took large stones from the river and wrote on them the things that our eyes have seen in order that our children who come after us may read on them all that HaShem did for us.

19.WF You (sg) remembered your covenant with us and you 'opened' before us the waters of the river as you said, and from the river we took big stones and we wrote upon them the things which our eyes had seen so that our sons who will come after us will read all that the Lord had done for us.

 

20 BB Behold the blood of your brother is crying out to me from the earth.

20 NS Behold, the shed blood of your brother is crying to Me from the ground.

20.WF Behold, the shed blood of your brother is crying unto me from the ground.

 

21 BB Because there will be for you a word of judgment which (it) is not in the this Torah, (and) you will go to the place which I chose for my name and you will ask for the judge who will be there in those days.

21 NS Because you will have a word of judgement that is not in this Torah, you will go to the place that I have chosen for my name, and you will inquire of the judge who will be there in those days.

21.WF That'll be unto you the word of judgement which is not in this Law, and you'll walk upon the place that I've chosen for my name and you'll ask the judge who will be there these days.
