With the Arrival of Hall of Famer Jim Kelly
in 1986, the fortunes of the Buffalo Bills began to change. No longer
were the Bills the laughing stock of the NFL. It was during this era
that the Bills and their followers enjoyed unpresidented success, appearing in four straight Super Bowls,
begining in 1991. These were indeed, "The Glory Years." As former
general manager Bill Polian said, "A team of this quality seldom stays
together for long, enjoy them while you can, players of this ilk will
not be seen again for quite some time."
