Joe DeLamiellure

In the summer of 2003, Joe DeLamiellure along with James Lofton, became the fifth and sixth Buffalo Bills, respectfully, to be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

Drafted in the 1st round of 1973 out of Michigan State, "Joe D" was the final piece of the puzzle, which was the offensive line known as the "Electric Company" because they turned on the Juice.

He was considered the best RG in the buisiness, during his playing days with the Bills. "Joe DeLamiellure is by far the best offensive lineman I've seen since Billy Shaw," decared Lou Saban in DeLamiellure's rookie season.

Joe D represented the Bills in 5 consecutive Pro Bowls starting in 1975. After the 1979 season however, DeLamiellure was experiencing diferences with Bills coach, Chuck Knox, and was traded to the Cleveland Browns, where he performed well enough to play in yet another Pro Bowl. Joe returned to the Bills briefly in 1985 before retiring.

He is presently the offensive line coach at Duke University.
