Science students at Beall High School in Frostburg, Maryland,
maintain this web page to help web users better understand what is happening in their
community and the world in regard to water quality. Take some time to look around and feel
free to make suggestions on how we could improve the page. We are in the Chesapeake Bay
Watershed with most of the school's students in the upper Georges Creek Watershed which
runs into the Potomac River. The Potomac River, probably most famous for flowing through Washington DC, is one of the seven major rivers that move water into
the Chesapeake Bay.
