| Jet is a former police officer from Ganymeade, one of Jupiter's moon's that has been turned into the fishing center of the galaxy, famous for the tasty Ganymeade Rock Lobster and notorious for the disgusting (but chic) Ganymeade sea rat. His favorite author is Goerthe (shades of 'the Tin Drum?), but he also enjoys more contemporary entertainers like Charlie Parker. His hobbies include tending to his bonsai garden, an ancient oriental art, and fixing the equiptment his partners wreck on a daily basis, a not-so ancient art but important nontheless. He seems to be a competent handyman, capable of fixing spaceships and household appliances, and a not-so-competent cook, to his partners chagrin. However, considering he usually has to throw together meals consisting of whatever's sitting around (shitake mushrooms, bean sprouts, hardboiled eggs, etc.), is it surprising he isn't a four-star chef?? Maybe if there was ever more than one type of food on the ship at any given time, he could show off his culinary skills to a better advantage. |
| Jet is also good at thinking up brilliant plans for capturing bounty heads that invariably blow up in his face when his more impulsive partners feel the need to 'improvise'. While his abilities as a master strategist don't really get him very far because of this, he does get an A+ for effort! Go, Jet! Finally, because of his good nature and willingness to go that extra mile, he has a lot of contacts who 'owe him one' and are willing to give him information even if they get in trouble for it, and a lot of people who take advantage of him mercilessly.
