The black haired girl's eyes widened. " You didn't....."
The brown haired girl smiled smugly. " Sure did, I wasn't going to let a bitch like her show me up! "
Miaki shook her head at the boldness at her friend. " But Taechi, what about her bo....." Miaki paled as she slowly trailed off. Taechi blinked. " Mia? What's wrong? "
Miaki lifted a shaky finger to point behind Taechi. Taechi frowned as she turned around. Her eyes narrowed as she saw three girls walking down the hall. Each girl wore a differing color- the tallest had on white, the second tallest had on green, and the shortest had on red. As the three girls walked down the hall, the students all scrambled to get out of their way. The oldest kept an expressionless face, but the second oldest seemed to like it and the youngest seemed to be annoyed by it. Taechi sneered as she stepped in front of the three girls.
" Well if it isn't the three Tendou whores! Who do you think you are, disobeying the dress code like that?!?! "
Miaki's eyes widen as she slowly came out of her stupor, and she jumped up to put her hand over her friend's mouth. " P-please forgive my friend. " she said, slightly bowing before the girls. " She didn't mean it. "
The angry expression disappeared from the three girls faces, and the two oldest ones walked away. The youngest regarded the nervous Miaki with a thoughtful look, and than smiled as she turned away to catch up with her sisters. As the girls walked away, an angry Taechi wrenched her friend's hand from her mouth. " What the heck did you think you were doing? Why did you apologize to them?!?! "
Miaki scowled at her friend. She hated being hollered at. " Saving your butt, you idiot! Don't you know what happened to Sakura?!?! "
Taechi was momentarily taken aback by the tone of her normally quiet friend. " W-what do you mean? Everyone knows she fell down the stars! What do the freaks have anything to do with it? "
Miaki stared shook her head at the attitude of her friend. " You haven't even talk to her since she fell, have you? "
Taechi frowned. " Why should've I? "
Miaki bit her lip and looked away. " Before she fell, she was talking about the Tendou sisters to their face.....She said that when she was talking about them, she heard someone whisper something in her ear, and she felt hands pulling her back towards the staircase, making her fall back and down the stairs. "
Taechi eyes wide. " What? "
Miaki nodded. " Yep. And she said she kind of heard what the voice said. "
Taechi leaned closer to her friend. " What did it say. "
Miaki bit her lip. " She said it sounded like:
Don't mess with my girl....."

Taechi shivered as she walked through the student parking lot. The story her best friend told her hours earlier still gave her a nervous feeling. Did one of the Tendou girls really push Sakura down the stairs? Did Sakura really hear a voice? Or did she made up some big story to cover her clumsiness? Taechi eyes widen as that thought became clearer to her. That's probably what happened! Sakura was probably so embarrassed that she managed to trip and fall backwards down the stairs that she made some stupid story to cover it up! Taechi smiled at the misfortune of the other girl. Serves her right for not inviting her to her party! Chuckling, Taechi stood in front of her best friend's car and waited for her to come. She blinked as it suddenly got dark outside. Looking up, she could see the clouds had covered the sun. She frowned. She had always hated when that happen ever since she could remember.
".......taechi........"
Taechi paused and frowned as she thought someone call her name. For some unknown reason, Taechi felt a heavy sense of dread.
" .......Taechi......."
Taechi shivered. There it goes again....What was it, and why did it make her feel so nervous?
" TAECHI!!! "
Taechi snapped around to see her friend's car headlights on, and the car running......but no one inside.
" Mi...Miaki? Miaki, where are you? This isn't funny! "
" It wasn't very funny when you made fun of my girl, Taechi-chan. " a soft male's voice said mockingly.
Taechi frowned as a look of fear came into her eyes. Her spine felt like it was made of ice." W-Who are you? "she stuttered. It was beggining to be too hard to breathe.
She could almost here the voice smile. "Do you really want my name? " the voice asked in a mocking tone.
The air was beggining to be freezing cold. " I.....please..yes...I want to know your name. " Taechi said, visibly trembling with fear. "...and w-what I did to you. " she finished. For some strange reason, knew that the voice wasn't very happy with her at the moment.
" I'm Azure....your Reaper. " the voice said with a sinister tone. " And I don't appreciate what you said to my girl. "
The car's engine revved and Taechi stepped back in fear. " I-I'm sorry...please...I....w-who's your g-girl? "
The voice chuckled. " That will be no concern for you in a few moments. "
Taechi's eye's widened with fear. " W-What do you mean? " she asked, already knowing the answer.
" I mean....DIE! " the voice screamed.
Taechi stood petrified as the car of her best friend hurled towards her.....

Miaki sighed as walked towards the school's exit. She really didn't want to hear Taechi's fuss for her coming late.
" Do you have a minute? "
Miaki paused and whirled around to see one of the Tendou sisters.
" Uh hi...." she stammered. " I didn't hear you coming. "
The girl smiled. " It's alright, you've apologized more than enough. By the way, I'm Akane. " the girl said, sticking out her hand. Miaki smiled and shook it. " Hi, I'm Miaki. "
Akane smiled and tilted her head to the side. " Do you want to be friends? "
Miaki blushed on just how cute the girl looked. " S-sure....I'll li-"
" Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! "
Miaki's eyes widened. " T-that....that was Taechi! " she screamed as she and Akane burst through the exit. Miaki was the first one out there, and she instantly paled and sank to her knees as she saw the scene. Tears ran from her eyes as she shut them tight to black out the scene she just had seen.
The scene of her friend, Taechi, crumpled in a pool of dark red liquid, as her own car rumble near , shaking with spots of crimson dew........
