Little is known about Willder Whyvern. Some say that he is DuCarthe himself in the form of a lesser god watching over his realm... others say he is an evil ghost that haunts in a neutral form, waiting for a chance to gain revenge. Whatever the truth may be, it seems that only two people know it and they aren't telling. Willder's first appearances are shrowded in mystery. People who witnessed it say he and Daronella appeared from seemingly nowhere to help save Daronella's sister. Daronella bonded with the god, being one herself, and has been the closest thing to a friend the loner has. Willder can be usually found wandering the halls of Castle Whyvern or listening to the The Judges in Naebrow pass rulings. He rarely speaks and dresses in dark clothing, lending to the rumors that he is evil. Willder is hardly ever angered, but when he is his powers are incredible and his fury strong. He is often seen slipping into Daronella's room at odd hours and staying for long periods of time. If one ventures closer they can hear soft voices in serious discussion, but can never seem to understand what is said. Willder is fiercely protective of Daronella and her family and would do anything for them... and has. |
