| Harmonica-ace Bryan Koenig hails from the Wausau, Wisconsin area, where he has been a mainstay on the blues scene for nearly two decades. Shortly after the release of their critically-acclaimed Blue Loon CD, 'Wake Up!', the band broke up. The CD stayed in print, however, thanks to drummer/producer Bron Westland. It's still available from better record stores on both sides of the Atlantic, as well as from most internet CD retailers, like GEMM.com. |

| The members of the Stand Back Blues Band went their separate ways. Koenig continues as the regions premiere harp player, while guitarist Jay Stulo forged a reationship with Luther Allison prior to venturing off on his own. Drummer Bron Westland has played behind Lady Blue, the Boogiemen, and most recently Howard Luedtke's band, before his untimely death in 1999. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
