Positions Offered:

Child Care Worker

Description: Child Care Workers are responsible for the care, feeding and safety of the children in their care. Other duties include diaper changing of infants and toddlers, as well as activity supervision and planning. Desired Requirements: One year experience as a child care provider in a state licensed center, and CPR certification is desired but not required. Salary may be increased above $6.50/hr based on experience.
Minimum Requirements: 18 years of age & High School Graduate

Preschool Teacher

Description: Implementation of the assigned lesson plan for the class. Participating in the daily workings of the classroom with the Lead Teacher. Working with parents on development and individual child progress. Maintaining a clean, safe and orderly room. Desired Requirements: One year experience as a preschool teacher in a state licensed school or center. BA degree in early child development or early childhood education is desired but not required. Salary will increase based on experience and level of education.
Minimum Requirements: 1 year of college education plus CPR certification. However, CPR certification can be obtained during the first 60 days of employment.

Assistant Director

This person must work closely with both the Director and Executive Director, in managing the Center's daily activities, yet is able to function independently when necessary. Duties will include staff supervision and scheduling, create and implement appropriate developmental activities for children, help provide a clean safe environment for play and learning, monitor individual and or group activities to prevent accidents and promote social skills, confer with parents to explain preschool program and answer questions. Requirements: 2 year experience as an Assistant Director in a childcare/daycare center or preschool; or 4 year experience as a preschool or Kindergarten teacher. BA degree in childcare or BS degree in child development preferred but not required.
Salary comensurate with experience.
