The WHITE LIPPED TREE FROG is thel argest tree frog in the world. The female may reach over 13 centimetres in body length. It is a widespread specieis in the savannah woodlands and forests of the lowlands to about 1100 metres. Here it prefers to live near water, and voices its deep scratchy-ratchety call from a perch up to 2 metres above the ground. The frog pictured is sitting in banana flowers. |
