What is "Marriage"?
This IS Shou, believe it or not...
  Some of you may have heard of another Sotsugyou M OVA called Marriage. Well, let me tell you something. THERE IS ONE! They even have an English version of it, which means that the M boys all have English voices...(I haven't seen it though, so I don't know who their English voice actors are.) I ordered this movie subtitled and was quite surprised. All of the M boys look COMPLTETLY different. The orginal Sotsugyou girls also look very different. (Everyone is at least 25 years old in this movie, but seriously..they changed way too much) The movie basically focuses on the Sotsugyou girls getting married. The M boys rarely make appearances in either episode (there's 2) at least not all at once.

    Episode one is called "The Red String of Fate". All of the girls seem to have been or are in love except Shizuka Nakamoto.  (FYI..one of the girls, Kiyomi, is dating Shimon Takagi at this point and breaks off with him during the movie. As he walks down the street being depressed because of this, women and even a man dressed up like a woman start hitting on him!) Anyway, Shizuka's friend, Mika Kato, tries to set her up with someone, but she doesn't really care for him much. However she is constantly running into a guy at work who happens to be...that's right...Shou Nakamoto! (I'm pretty sure that Shou and Tougo work with Shizuka and Mika) Anyway, after Shizuka's date with some freakishly geeky guy, she runs into Shou at a coke machine and sure enough, they hit it off and Shizuka introduces Shou to Mika, who's been following her. ^_^;; (FYI..during this episode, Yuusuke and Mikimaro, who is obbsessed with Reiko Takagi, give a lecture on why guys and girls are attracted to each other in chibi form.)The End.

     Episode two is called "Two-fifths of Women's Sorrow". All of the girls seem to be married (FYI...Shimon Takagi and Mami Shimura are married; and all the girls are sisters in this episode. They mention it several times just so you'll say ...."huh?") except Kiyomi Arai. But there is a guy who works with her named...Mikimaro Shimura.... who loves Kiyomi and wants to ask her to marry him. (FYI.. apparently the M boys don't know each other in this episode. While Mikimaro and Kiyomi are on a date, they see a movie that Shou happens to be the star of..O_O;;. And they also run into Tougo, who comments on how geeky Mikimaro looks. Then Kiyomi says "At least he's not a gigilo" {lol} That seems to make the girl that Tougo's with angry at him. And then we find out that Kiyomi and Tougo used to go out after Mikimaro asks who she was talking to.) Later on in their date, Mikimaro tries to ask Kiyomi to marry him, but she keeps changing the subject, like she's afraid. Finally, he gets fed up and throws the ring at her. She picks it up and puts it on and accepts Miki's proposal. *gags* (FYI...during this episode, the girls give Mikimaro a lecture on how to propose in chibi form..^_^;;) The End.

    This movie is overall ok. A bit confusing if you know who the characters are. But I wouldn't recommend spending more than 10 bucks on it. It's really not worth it unless you're obbsessed with EMU or Sotsugyou M or just curious..or rich..-_-;; The movie was kinda corny and too lovey dovey for my tastes. But it was also kinda cute. ^_^;; Anyway,
Our Carnival was much better. I'd recommend it before Marriage, but I wouldn't spend a whole lot of money on that one either. ^_^;; If you'd like to know where I got these movies for cheap prices, email me or sign the guestbook and I'll get back to you. ^_^;;
