In 1999 The NORRISTOWN AREA HIGH SCHOOL JAZZ BAND:

Made it's Re-Appearance and is Striving to return to the Tradition of Excellence this year as in years past. Wish us luck as this talented collection of young people explore the world of Music. In past years Norristown has hosted many performances because of their excellent facilities, and the fine sounds they produce from the music that they play extremely well. People are always willing to travel to our location for the many concerts we perform.

We would like to express our thanks to the Norristown Area School District, the Norristown Area High School Staff, Our Principal, and The Music Parents, for their continuing support of our Music.

The Eagle Jazzed for it's first competition on Friday Night 19 MAR 99, at Upper Darby High School. And received and Oustanding Rating for their efforts. A good start.

Get onboard with these fine young musicians, and root them on as they Jazz it UP!

The Norristown Band Program has many accomplishments over the years, including being A four time Tournament of Bands, Chapter 3 Champion, Atlantic Coast Group II Champions in 1994, and our Indoor Color Guard was the T.I.A. All-Chapter Champion in 1998
