"As you can see from the photo, our grandkids are growing.  The current score is:  Girls:8, Boys:1.  

Locally, we have Megan (freshman volleyball player), Katie (scholar and soccer player), Taryn (artist and budding musician), and Marjorie (who wears big girl panties and is almost ready for pre-school).  

In Hawai`i, we have Kendra (learning the guitar), Aubrey (the artist), Makena (all boy), Marina (all girl) and Lillian (just walking)."

"We were fortunate to have two wonderful vacations this year.  One week in May on Maui, visiting Mike and family.

Les and Pat and the girls, and Andy and Jodi and girls, also joined us on the trip.  Special thanks to our wonderful daughter-in-law, Jodi, for flying all of us over on her miles."

"Riley (our dog) update:  Either we have successfully trained him, or he has trained us.  He takes us for our walks at night and he's housebroken (which is more than we can say).  But seriously, he's turned out to be a very good dog.

Just because he ate another garden hose, another WonderBra (Linda's) and another pair of underwear (Bob's) doesn't make him a bad dog.  Those skivvies had holes in them anyway, and the WonderBra was hardly ever worn."
