Due to many requests, here are some of my early recordings. The Vocal recordings were
done live. I did the singing
while playing one hand on the piano and one hand on the Rhodes Keyboard bass. The tapes were
made by plugging the two track reel to reel into the back of
the Shure Vocal Master PA
system. No midi, sequencing or overdubbing was
used. The fine drummer was Paul Kelly, now retired in San Diego. The Sax recordings of Perdido, Harlem Nocturn and Granada were done with a trio:Sax: Bob Brooks Organ: Mike DeMille Drums: Paul Kelly Misty was with our quartet later. Keys: Paul Dudley Guitar: Bobby Howard Drums: Louie Ferriera and me. |
