Now why anyone would want to know this stuff is beyond me, but here goes: Im 36 years young, married for 16 years with 3 great kids, 1 dog, 2 cats, and more fish than i like to think about. I started this web site as A help for the hobbyist type page, but have since found that a good message board is the best help i can give. So now im seriously into pics as im sure you can all tell.  Anyway ive been in the hobby since i was 6 years old and got my first aquarium, what a marvel of technology that was, 10 gallons, incandescant light, corner filter.
Let me tell you I sent alot of fish to the Benton, KY sewer department that first year or so!  But due to the patience of a tolerant mother and an insatiable desire to succeed i matured to the master breeder level in fairly short order. I'll be adding a list of fish I have bred soon.  I grew up in Benton KY and lived there until I joined the  U.S. NAVY,  While stationed in VA Beach VA I was active in the South Eastern VA Aquarium Society, where i eventually was elected society presidant.  I also chaired the breeder award program.  After retiring back to KY I am once again up to my eyebrows in this wonderful hobby and loving every minute of it.
