August 14, 1898, to March 8, 1984
He met Geanie Forgie in Ontario and they fled together to Saskatchewan. They were married in Drumheller Alberta on January 19, 1920.
They had 3 children:
1: (My mother) Grace Forgie Summers born on February 13, 1921 in Drumheller Alberta.
2: Frank Summers born on December
26, 1924 in Drumheller Alberta.
3 Bernard Eugene Summers (Bud): born May 5, 1933 in Powell River
B. C.
Geanie died on May 5, 1933 in Powell River B.C. due to childbirth complications.
Kathlyne Carney (Nee Twigge) came to the home to help Bud after his wife died.
Grace left the home and went out on her own.
Frank was put in a home for the mentally challenged.
Bud and Kay raised (Bernard Eugene) Buddy along with Kays' child Stanley, that Bud adopted.
This is Buddy junior taken sometime in the 70's
He died in 2003

She died at age 74 in Lillooet BC , July 22, 1977 as Kathlyn Summers.
Bud died on March 8, 1984 in Nanaimo, B.C.
