Christmas 2005

The cute gingerbread house Radona made :-)

Um, I don't know why we didn't get shots of Contina, Missy, or Radona opening their gifts, but....I do have them all on DVD :-)

These next shots are so fugly it just ain't funny, but...I had to post them anyway.

My new rice cooker, one of my gifts from Radona :-)  The other two have not arrived as yet, and I don't know what they are!  UPDATE:  The presents have gotten here now and are two collector's items from The Bradford Exchange: One is a plaque about Chihuahuas with a photo, footprints, and saying, and the other is a gorgeous ceramic egg that opens up with a staircase of Austrian crystal that leads to heaven, and the special saying, "If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again!"  I love them :-)

White Diamonds and a collectible teddy bear from Daryth :-)

Contina was scared I wouldn't like her gift....does it look like I hate it?  *lol*  It's Care Bear slippers, Bedtime Bear, with rainbows :-)  Yippeeeee :-)  You should see this on the DVD...Radona says I'm like a little kid jumping up and down on my chair and screaming *lol*  What can I say?  I *love* Care Bears!

I didn't want to cry, but Daryth forced me.  That is the "UGLY CRY" *lol*  Look at my grandkids' reactions to their mawmaw crying!  Priceless!

Man, talk about ruin the makeup job *lol*  See my precious Cheer Bear collectible ring box?  Ironically, I received two of these...one from Daryth and one from James, and I'm in heaven.  Inside the box was a darling sterling silver opal ring and earring set, and I had managed NOT to fully cry until Daryth reminded me that opal is my mom's birthstone, and that was the significance of her getting me the set.  I lost my mind :-(

Here's a better photo:

Taylor and her new bike :-)

Daddy on Taylor's new bike :-)

Taylor and Collin :-)

Taylor and great-great Aunt Jean (my aunt)

My nephew after Wayne and Layne's.  Poor gingerbread house!  The grandkids beat it up while we were out.  My nephew called it the aftermath of Hurricane Rita!

My niece is going to kill me for this one!  *lol*

My brother just kicking back after stuffing himself with gumbo :-)

My dear friend and neighbor :-)

Can anyone spell GROSS?  Yours truly after a grueling 24 hours without sleep and partying hearty, talking to my friend/neighbor :-)
