My Vincent grandparents (Willie Vincent and Camilla Benoit) had two daughters. Aunt Jean (Jane Loris) married Lester (aka TB) Guidry and lived in Sweetlake, now living in Sulphur -- they had two sons and two daughters, Warren, Arthur (aka B-Ray), Linda, and Merella (aka Millie). Then my mom, Mary Ellen married my dad, Lawrence Lavergne, and lived here in Sulphur -- they adopted two girls and one boy -- Antoinette, Charlene, and Paul.
There were seven of us grandchildren, one of whom passed on (my sister died 11-52). My godmother, Linda is the oldest while my brother is the youngest.
The information compiled below was researched by my wonderful first cousin, Betty Lavergne Whetnall (who is more like my older sister cause she lived with my parents -- I love this story! She wanted to live with her Nanny and her Paran; and that she did. My parents raised her from early on till she graduated high school and got married!).
