Daddy Went To Heaven 

Daddy went to heaven but I need him here today, 
My heart hurts I knelt down to pray I need him right away 
Operator can you tell me how to find him in this book? 
Is heaven listed under H, I don't know where to look. 

I think my mother needs him to, at night I hear her cry. 
I hear her ask why God do I have to be alone 

Maybe if I call him, He will come to me in my sleep 
And tell me every thing is fine I sit at Jesus feet. 
He's  only been gone to heaven a little while ago. 
I really need to talk to him, but I don't know why. 

Help me see the light that has taken him to heaven 
To be with other loved ones that have gone on before. 

I am sorry, Daddy, I don'tmean to cry, 
But I need you to get in touch with me and tell me you are fine 
I go to church each Sunday and hear the word of God 
Daddy said when things go wrong, Pray and God will hear. 
I will be here waiting for you, when God calls you home.
