No Tomorrow
If I had known there was no
tomorrow
I would have held his hand
in mine.
While he went to Jesus and
left me alone.
If I knew it was going to be
the last
I would see him close his
eyes
I would never left and gone
home,
Never thinking our hearts
would part,
He was the love of my life.
If I knew it was the last time,
To hear him say, "I love You"
I would have held him tight
Hoping he would open his eyes.
I have no regrets for today
We had a lot of love to go
around,
Never thinking his life would
end.
He is now In Heaven with Jesus,
Walking the streets of pure
gold,
He has his wings that shine
so bright,
Sends sun beams down through
the clouds.
I look every day for the sunbeams
To come out from behind the
clouds,
I will walk the sunbeam to
heaven,
To the pearly gates in the
sky,
And will meet him on the other
side
Never to be apart again.
