IDIOTIC

SMOKING

Decades after it was well known that smoking was bad to our health the controversy continues to take space in many news papers.

Everybody is or should be well informed of de hazards of smoking. If any body decide to ruin their health or kill himself,it is their business, unless he or her is or would be on public assistance, then the problem is a problem of all us.

However the case is more complicated when we approach it considering our rights to be free and to self defense. I would like to see some questions addressed and if possible tested in the courts.

As many people do, I go to some public places from time to time.

Do I have the right to bread clean air and the right not to be harassed.

Do I have the right to self defense, when somebody knowingly attempt against my health and possible my life?

What should I do if I already have a health problem and couldn't take that smoke?

Do I have to get out without finishing my meal like it happen to me not long ago?

Do I have to pay for that meal I never finish?

Do the smoker belong to a superior class of untouchables like the cows do in some another region of the World?

I never did smoke, but I did work in a small office where some people smoke all the time, and when the doctor told me to stop smoking I was very surprise, and told him I ouldn't, because I never did. He said your lungs are full of smoke or its residues, or whatsoever.

May be I am a bit paranoid about tobacco, but sorry I can't help and like to see some clarification about my rights, without the interference of those big companies that we know now, they had lied to us.

We should have somebody to represent us, with the guts not to let to be bought by the lobbies that anybody knows are paid by unscrupulous people.

Sorry, but again is the way I feel.
