Best Monica and Andrew's scenes
(but this is just a selection as there are so many great moments in the show we certainly need a longer list!).
And LOL the best part is that this one we didn't have to invent, they DID happen!
- the final scene in "The sign of the dove" – that’s a masterpiece, the whole episode and when Monica and Andrew start to dance, oh my God! I jump of joy and feel like applauding it!
- the final scene in "Living the rest of my life" – those last 10 seconds at the end are just WONDERFUL! I love the way he takes hold of Monica!
- Andrew teaching Monica how to play pin ball in "A house is divided" – especially because the boy tells the father ‘Look, there’s my teacher!’ and the father says ‘well, it looks like he has a girlfriend.’ Still in this episode, I just loooove the scene when Monica and Tess are having a dispute over the décor for Andrew’s apartment, and the two come up with totally different decorations. Monica justifies hers by saying to Andrew: ‘… angels are also peaceful, comforting and warm, and I think your house should reflect that because that’s really who you are.’ Besides, the whole episode is GREAT and Monica and Andrew are working together almost all the time. Finally, Monica is acting as a public defender and I have a lot of admiration and respect for public defenders.
- Andrew teaching Monica how to play bowling in "The perfect game" – he’s so sweet to her and so patient! And when she throws the ball and hits only 1 pin, he encourages her by saying that she has a second chance. And have you noticed that he’s always teaching Monica how to do things?
- The scenes in the beginning and at the end of "Bringer of light". In the beginning Monica explains the constellations to Tess and when Tess asks her where she learned that she says (with a pleased look on her face) that Andrew taught her. And at the end - Andrew holding Monica’s arm.
- I like the episode "The Lord moves in mysterious ways", Monica and Andrew stay together most of the time. Specially when Monica starts to cry for fear that Tess won’t never come back and Andrew – with a very sad expression on his face too – asks her if she’s ok. But the whole episode is great.
- the final scene in "Into the fire" – they remain holding their hands until they finish to talk to the other people and then, at the very end, Andrew holds Monica.
- the final scene in "I am an angel", when they put on their sunglasses. Have you noticed the expression on Andrew’s face? It’s sthg like: ‘we are really cool!’ And then when they leave, Andrew holds her until they disappear.
- the scenes at the beginning and at the end of "Finger of God", Andrew is talking about tornados to Monica – again, teaching her how dangerous they can be. And at the end, after they talk, he holds her and they go away together.
- the episode "The empty chair", when they arrive at the house together – they look so much like a couple! And I also like it when the man asks Andrew if they are married, Andrew says no, and the man insists ‘you should, cause it’s not good for a man to be alone’, and Andrew starts smiling.
MORE:
Monica telling Andrew what happened to her in Heaven about her being kicked out of the choir – the look on Andrew’s face is one of sadness, he’s really sad by what she tells him. And also Andrew trying to dissuade a drunk Monica from going into the stage to sing (it’s so funny!), both in the episode "Voice of an angel". And also in this episode, Andrew bringing Monica an entire bottle of coffee once she's out of prison. The way he looks at her and the way she gazes back at him is soo cute!
Andrew holding a crying Monica at the beginning of "Black like Monica".
The episode "The face on the barroom floor", especially in the parts when they are camping in the desert at night, sitting together while talking to the man they’re helping.
Andrew holding Monica in the beginning of "The medium and the message"
Monica and Andrew exchanging a glance in "An angel on the roof".
Monica telling Andrew to try and eat chilli pepper and, after he tries, he has to run away and drink like a bucket of water. And when he comes back, he stares at Monica like: ‘you owe me one!’
