The Big Rapids High School Auditorium is a frequent performing venue for both Michigan State Band and Orchestra Association Sponsored District and State Festivals since the school was completed in 1998.  It is utilized by both the High School and Middle School Bands, as well as the award winning Drama Department.  Built by GMB Architects, it features removable seating which creates a space for an orchestra pit, as well as a special screen for lighting on the back wall.
