Seifer is known as a snob and a show-off at the garden and is considered to be Squall's ultimate rival. Along with his friends Fuijin and Raijin, he acts as the Garden's Disciplinary Committee. He is the only other gunblade user at the garden besides Squall which leads to heated rivalries between the two. Although a candidate for SeeD he has problems following orders which always holds him back from actually becoming one.
