Shoo and I
May 1998
May has passed. Such a significant
time of year for Shoo and I.
It was May when we met, that warm spring day
in 1998. It was May when I lost him to the Bridge
Mother's Day, May 9th., 1999.
I have never before featured our story on the site...
always just the different poems our story brought about.
So I have decided to leave the featured pages as is...at least for the summer...
beginning with "May's Song", written the May following Shoo's death,
then moving on to "Apple Blossoms", our story in story form,
then closing with "Shoo's Song", our story in Ode form.
From there the rest of the website can be
viewed through links that follow.
