Winter Cottontail

Directly below, you will meet the wild
cottontail rabbits of the Evans' backyard!

From left to right: Brandi, Blackberry, Sage,
Clover, Sky and Winter.
The cottontail in the photo above
is also Winter.

Please note, as you hold your cursor over
each picture you will see the same
information I am giving here.

Next, a beautiful Apple Blossom
flower is serving as a link
to a page we will visit in a moment.

Upon moving to the next photo you will
find a very lazy Little Joe Squirrel preparing
for his escapade of the day. Sigh.

Below on the left is Mandy Dove and Clover
waiting for me to put the camera down
and bring out their food.

The next picture shows Little Joe AFTER his
escapade which interrupted the photo
taking of Mandy and Clover.

The story of Joe's antics that day
is more than worth sharing,
and we will visit the page presently.

Lastly is a photo of an insect I met last year as
I sat on the step waiting for the cottontails.
I have no idea what she or he is.

At first I thought possibly a Hummingbird
but on closer inspection I saw the visitor to be
clearly an insect and one who didn't mind
having her picture taken!

And now, after viewing the pictures,
please click on the Apple Blossom link,
third row center, to read of Little Joe Squirrel's
adventure in the neighbor's yard last September!

And yes, that is a look of fear crossing
that squirrel's face as he came running up to me!
