Married

Erin Hershey and Brian Presley (Alison and Jack, Port Charles) were married July 27 at The Bacara Hotel in Santa Barbara, Calif. "The wedding was beautiful," reports the bride. "My sister (Jennifer) was not my maid of honor but my goddess of honor, and Thad Luckinbill (J.T., The Young and the Restless) was Brian's best man. It was a very spiritual ceremony. We had a lot of people come up to us and say that."

Hershey and Presley "customized" their vows with a little help from their church pastor, Kyle. In fact, the pastor even "threw in" a surprise vow they weren't expecting. "Kyle said, 'I, Brian, promise you, Erin, to every morning buy you a triple grande hazelnut latte from Starbucks.' And Brian repeated it. I just died laughing. The whole congregation laughed so hard." Erin will now go by the name Erin Hershey Presley.

News about Erin and Brian's Wedding from Kiko's Newsletter

I wanted to tell everyone that I had the most wonderful and beautiful experience at Brian and Erin Presley's wedding this past Saturday the 27th. It was held in one of the finest hotels that I've ever been in overlooking the ocean in Santa Barbara. For me, and I'm sure that I can speak for most everyone there, there was nothing but the presence of love in the air that day. I saw one of the happiest couples that I've ever seen get married, EVER! I can only hope to have what they experienced this past weekend when my day is here. Erin's family was so open and loving and her parents and I had a wonderful time chattin' all throughout the day laughing and playin', go figure. They're great. And Brian's parents and family just gushed of love. All of Port Charles was there, cast, crew, executives etc. I just have so much love for Brian and Erin individually, and now that it is official, I can guarantee ya, this is one Hollywood wedding that will go beyond the distance and then some!

Hershey, Presley Wed

Erin Hershey (Alison Barrington) and Brian Presley (Jack Ramsey) were married on July 27th in a ceremony in Santa Barbara at the Bacara Hotel.

Thad Luckinbill (JT, The Young and the Restless) served as best man and Erin's sister, Jennifer, was the maid of honor.

The ceremony included custom vows - one of which came from the pastor, Kyle! According to a wedding guest, Kyle added, "'I, Brian, promise you, Erin, to every morning buy you a triple grande hazelnut latte from Starbucks.'"

If you're wondering, Brian did repeat the vow.

Hershey has opted to now go by the name Erin Hershey Presley.

To Have And To Hold...

"From the time that Erin Hershey (Alison) and Brian Presley (Jack) met, they had this chemistry, and I knew that the two of them would eventually end up together," notes their pleased PORT CHARLES costar, Kelly Monaco (Livvie). Monaco, who at the time played Jack's girlfriend and Alison's best bud, was in a position to know. "It was very evident that there was something special between the two of them: They worked well together and they were each other's best friend before they became romantically involved - that's important."

The setside romance, which was kept hush-hush for months, soon became too obvious to hide. Just three months after their April 19 engagement at Disneyland, the two celebrated their love with a fairy-tale wedding!

On July 27, friends, family, and castmates gathered at the Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara, CA, to watch the happy couple exchange vows. "It was all blush and bashful - pink, light pink, and cream," recalls the bride dreamily. "Brian did a lot of the planning."

Standing up for the couple were the groom's then roommate, Thad Luckinbill (J.T., THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS), Brian and Erin's sisters, Jennifer and Amy, respectively, as well as a few close friends.

Racing to the Altar

As the big day arrived, everyone's nerves were aflutter - everyone's but Hershey's. She was simply anxious to become Mrs. Presley. "All the girls were so nervous, and I had to calm down the dress steamer because she was upset. I was like, 'Honey, if it zips and it's not going to fall off me, I don't care!'"

Gorgeous in a Moonlight gown by designer Carol Hai, Hershey stepped down the aisle, eager to meet her groom. It was a moment Presley says he'll never forget." "I hadn't seen her in the wedding dress and I hadn't seen her the day of the wedding either - so when I first saw her..." He trails off, then begins again. "You always talk about what it would be like to get married someday, but at that moment, it was real!"

To Love, Honor And Caffeinate?

Officiated by their church pastor Kyle Idelman, the beautiful ceremony contained words the bride and groom had written for their special day. However, it wouldn't be a wedding if there weren't a few surprises!

This time, it was an unexpected vow. "In the same monotone voice, the pastor said, 'I, Brian, promise to love you and cherish you always.' And at the end, he added, 'I, Brian, promise you, Erin, to every morning buy you a triple grande hazelnut latte from Starbucks,'" Hershey recalls, giggling. "I looked at the pastor, and he was so proud that he'd pulled it off. He started laughing, and Brian repeated it. All the people just laughed so hard!"

At the reception that followed, Brian took Erin's hand for their first dance as husband and wife. "We danced to the romantic Alison Krauss song, "You Say Nothing At All," Presley reveals. "It's a country song, and it's just kind of our thing."
