| I have done a project about Mayas. As you know the are Indians who lived in America a looooooooooong time ago. Here is some fact about them! |
| They lived most in Mexico Guatemala and El Salvador. They had a counting system that looked like this (soon there vill come a picture) number one was a spot, number five was a line. If you want the number eight you draw a line whit three spot on it … cute simple. Mayas build pyramids just like the Egyptians. The only differens between the pyramids is that the Maya pyramids have a flat “roof” when the Egyptians pyramids … well you know they don’t have any “roofs” at all. |
| The Mayas played a game that looked like volleyball and basketball. They had a field whit a stripe in the middle. The games idea was to get the ball to the other side of the field whiteout touching the ball whit their hands. |
| The Mayas wrote whit hieroglyphs. The scientists have found over 800 different hieroglyphs signs. The Mayas had written many different books whit the hieroglyphs but only three books have survived in to our time. |
