Are your prayers just filled with requests for things, or do you
include a liberal amount of thanks to God for things He’s done (past favors), is doing (present blessings), and will do (future assurances), and why?

extent were these Colossians to have gratitude for Christ and their spiritual life
and growth?
Are you satisfied with the
extent of your gratitude for Christ and your Christian life and growth, and why?

How often do you thank God for
your president, congressmen, governor, mayor, state legislators, judges, etc.,

Do you give thanks for your
food and for Christ’s shed blood for the forgiveness of your sins, and why?

you thanked God for Christians who show interest in your life, and why?

Paul thank God for these Roman Christians?

regarding other Christians?

Have you ever thanked God for

whom did Paul and all the churches of the Gentiles give thanks?
Have you ever thanked God for
anything similar to this? If so, what?

and Timothy through their prayers?
Have you ever asked other
Christians to pray for you for something specific, so that when God answers
that prayer, many people can then thank the Lord, and why?

you think that Paul does this?
How frequently do you give
thanks to God for the salvation of others that you know because you love them
and are glad that they’re going to heaven?
And if you’re a Christian, how
often do you thank God for your salvation, and why?

blessings for us].
Do you give thanks to God at all times (any time) and for all things (anything
circumstantially), realizing that all things work together for good to
those who love God and are called according to His purpose (Rom.

Are you thankful for the
benefits you’ve received from God (vss.
3, 4, 11)?

in your heart to God?
And do you give thanks to God in whatever you do in word or deed for
His glory, that He’s given you the strength, ability, intelligence, and opportunity
to do, and why?

you speak (quote or teach) the Bible
to accept it as God’s word, and why?

Silvanus should always give thanks to God for these Thessalonians?

greatly enlarged” – they trusted God both in more areas of their lives and to a
greater degree in areas they were already trusting Him].

thanked God for these things being true in your life? If not, how can you find out?
Does anyone love you enough to
thank God for the spiritual progress/growth in your life?
And are you interested in the
lives of other Christians to the point where you thank God for their spiritual
growth in specific areas?
