Campus Christians is a ministry dedicated to the spreading of God's Word, the Gospel and its truths, especially to college and university students. When witnessing to students, we primarily use the Four-Steps Booklet.  For over 30 years, we have used the Word of God, the Bible, to help bring thousands of students to faith/trust in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Also, we have an extensive collection of biblical articles and Bible studies on many issues concerning the practical application of Christian doctrine and principles that can possibly be conceived.  We are dedicated to encouraging one another to grow in Christ-like maturity through prayer, fellowship, and the Scriptures.

Seeking and Saving the Lost

“And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’” – Matthew 28:19,20

We are dedicated to evangelism and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, especially to college students.  We use the biblical style of evangelism in that we take the initiative to share the gospel instead of waiting for others to ask us, why are you so different?”  We do not approach students with the “thou shalt believe or you will burn in fire and brimstone”, “turn or burn”, or “flip or fry” approaches.  We ask students to participate in an interview on their philosophy of life which creates much room for dialogue, discussion, and questions.  This method has proven to keep students interested as well as informed since the conversation isn’t just one-way.  We find that students who participate in our interview often return for further questions and comments, regardless of being a Christian.

Building Up the Body of Believers of Christ

“Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”Proverbs 27:17

We have many methods of building up Christians spiritually.  First, we offer access to a large library of biblical materials discussing virtually every Christian topic from A to Z in order to build a Christian’s knowledge base as well as encourage the application of the particular topics that have been learned.  Second, we offer group and one-on-one Bible studies.  These Bible studies cover many different topics of Christian life and theology. One-on-one studies are usually geared toward greater understanding of the Christian faith and as a prelude to discipleship.  Speaking of which, discipleship is our third method of building up Christians spiritually.  We have a resident program in which qualified individuals move into a ministry home in order to receive quality Christian leadership training.  This discipleship training program is meant to build and stimulate the development of Christ-like character while teaching Bible knowledge and preparing the Christian for full-time ministry.  The program is tailored to the individual, so there is no set time for living in the ministry home – the duration of time is based on many factors which include work scheduling and the depth of character development, among other things.
