Howdy!!!  I'm Holly from Florida.  I'm 42 years old now.  Married to a wonderful man (Bill).  In a few days we'll celebrate our 23rd. Anniversary (July 12th).  We call our place Baha Acres, short for Bill & Holly Abbott.  We have a herd of fur babies.  They are:  7 kitties (Boots, Kodiak, Koko, Socks, Smokey, Yum Yum & Kola), 3 dogs (Dominoe, Cowboy & Blue), and now only 1 horses (Rebel 95 aka Rocket).     

I was an Aux. Deputy and member of the Mounted Sheriff's Mounted Posse Unit.  I volunteered for this for over 10 yrs.  The only reason I gave it up was with the lose of my beloved Gypsy Blaze (my companion & partner).  It wouldn't be the same without her.   My love of horses was passed down to me from my dad.   He was a member of the Mounted Shrine Unit in Indianapolis, Indiana in the late 60's & early 70's.  My mom wasn't surprised when I became a Mounted Posse member.  She said she always knew if I had the chance I'd follow in dad's footsteps.  To me my dad was a hero, just like John Wayne. 

Some of my hobbies include listening to Country/Western Music.  I must say I love everything western  :)   I love antiques, & am a collector of many things.  I have a love for Mustang cars too.  I love horses, cats, dogs. I collect Beanie Babies also.  My husband & I both ride Harley Motorcycles too.  I just got a newer one recently (1999 883 Sportster converted to a 1200). I call mine the "Beast".   We enjoy riding on our off days  :)   We call our motorcycles our Iron Horses.  We do ride our real horses too  :)    

My favorite season is winter.  I love wearing sweaters & coats.  And since my birthday is in December I think that's another reason why I love this time of year.  

I feel really blessed to have a wonderful family & lots of friends.  I lost both of my parents in 2000 & really miss them.  But I had them for 37 years & we were extremely close.  Not only were they my parents but two of my best friends.  We spent lots of time together because we liked each other too.  I miss them more than I can say. But I'm lucky to have a wonderful brother, & he's my next door neighbor.  We are close too.  I'm lucky.  The most important thing in life to me is family (my fur babies included).
