Hello, my name is Linda.  I have been deaf since birth.  I grew up in Austin, Texas for many years before moving to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in December 1996 with my ex-husband.  I am working as a teacher aide/office aide at Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf for nine years.  I also worked as a dormitory supervisor and was a cheerleader coach for four seasons and "retired" in 2003.  I love working with children so I went to University of Pittsburgh to get a master's degree in Deaf Education but I left the program after four semesters due to personal problems - getting a divorce.  I may go back later to complete my study so I can become a teacher.

  I have two 'lil chihuahuas, Blackie and Max.  Blackie is 9 years old.  She was born on the same day I graduated from Gallaudet University on May 10, 1996. Blackie loves going for a car ride, meeting people, sleeping, and eating ice cream. Max is six years old.  His birthday is on the Groundhog Day.  Max loves going outside and playing with little ball.  I have a beautiful goddaughter.  Her name is Ashley.  She was born on April 19, 2001.   She lives in Texas with her parents Amy & Rey.

  My favorite hobbies are to collect Dreamsicles figurines, watching Days of Our Lives, The Young & the Restless, CSI, and Desparate Housewives.  I also love meeting new friends, playing with my two dogs, riding bike, reading books, and watching movies.
