El Agusta A109 Power, el cual proviene del diseño del A109, ahora introduce nueva tecnología ofreciendo perfomances superiores y versatilidad. El A109 Power está equipado con dos Pratt & Whitney 206C o dos Turbomeca Arrius 2K1 controladas por un sistema FADEC. La cabina permite un rápida cambio de configuración desde una versión de transporte a una de ambulancia o a una de carga. La cabeza del rotor principal es de titanio con cojinetes elastoméricos y puños de pala y palas de material compuesto. Las mejoras aerodinámicas y el nuevo sistema de control de los motores reducen el consumo de combustible al mismo tiempo que incrementan el rango y la carga paga. La carga de trabajo en cabina es reducida también gracias al instrumental totalmente LCD (pantalla de cristal líquido).


 The Agusta A109 Power, while retaining the well proven A109 family design, now introduces significant technological innovations while offering superior performance and versatility. The A109 Power is equipped with two Pratt & Whitney 206C or two Turbomeca Arrius 2K1 engines controlled by a full authority digital engine control system (FADEC). The cabin allows the quick configuration change from passenger transport to EMS operation or to any other mission requirement. The A109 Power features a main rotor head in titanium with elastomeric bearings and blade grips and blades in composite material. The improved aerodynamics and the new digitally controlled engines contribute to reduce the fuel consumption, at the same time increasing the range and payload. The crew workload is also reduced thanks to a full LCD cockpit.

  • Functional cabin lay-out designed for operational flexibility and quick reconfiguration (2 pilots with 6 passengers, or with 2 litters and 2 medical attendants).
  • Large separate baggage compartment (33.5 cu ft).
  • Second baggage compartment accessible from the cabin.
  • Newly design retractable landing gear, with high clearance for operations from unpreparaded terrain.
  • Engine monitoring and aircraft warnings on dual liquid crystal multifunction displays (IDS).
  • Titanium main rotor hub with elastomeric bearings and composite grips and blades.
  • New generation Pratt & Whitney PW206C engines with automatic control (FADEC).
  • New generation Turbomeca ARRIUS 2K1 engines with automatic control (FADEC).
  • Excellent performance including full CAT A take-off at maximum takeoff weight from elevated heliports.
  • Excellent flying qualities, high controllability and maneuverability.
