COOKBOOK LESSON #2: SMELL after mixing a cocktail you cannot taste it yet it's essential that you first smell, that you inhale its specific odour, that you have your senses work overtime; look, smell and maybe first have a little appetizer; a toast will do. |
The Catacombo appetizer was a mini-CD called "In 2000". It didn't have the expected result. Why? Because of its size? Longdrinks are better too Because of its package? A CD can never be as inviting and attractive as vinyl. OK, some people prefer a Bacardi Breezer from a sleazy night shop while other relax and drink a genuine Daiquiri sitting in a bamboo couch at the local Tiki Bar. The first cocktail was a 45 "Down in Honolulu"/"Are you being surfed?" and its taste proved to be highly unusual and unique. You'd like to return to learn how to mix? click here |
the smell and sound of vinyl is breath taking; it's alive, it's warm, it's real; it's not fake and what about the sleeve? who needs those tiny booklets always wrinkled? don't forget your magnifying-glass |
